REFLECTIONS AND PROGRESS!
Have you ever found yourself in deep thought about a certain problem or situation? About your circumstances in life. You think about all the roads and turns you’ve taken that did not bring you to your desired destination. But yet you had planned everything out and were certain that it was all going to work out. Sometimes in life no amount of planning can prepare us for the journey ahead. Our preparation and calculations can sometimes bring us disappointments. Why? Well…it’s usually because our plans and preparations did not fall in line with God’s plans for us. Sometimes it’s better to have no plans of our own. Instead, it is better to go with faith, knowing that God will see us through.
LEAP OF FAITH!
The ability to Leap with faith comes from our trust and belief in God. Knowing that everything he does is for our own good. Our path may be blurry or unknown. But when we walk with faith we are lead by the spirit of truth, “The Holy Spirit”. And eventually we will arrive at our destination. God is never late but he is always on time. I know it can be hard to take that step. To begin a new journey. I mean as human beigns we like to know before we do, or see before we go. Either way we like to make sense of things. But we forget that the understanding of God is not limited to what we know or what we can see. His understanding and knowledge surpasses that of any other in existence. Leaning on his understanding means letting go of control, surrendering, relying on faith and trusting in his guidance. His love will always see us through.
Hebrews 11:1 reads, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen”.
LEAP OF FEAR!
Leaping with fear comes from the thoughts the enemy throws in our minds. The feeling of uncertainty, confusion, desperation, misunderstandings and many more only make things worse. This fear is what hinders us from moving forward and moving in the right direction. We doubt ourselves because of uncertainty. Comepletely forgetting that God already knows. For where we cannot see, he sees and what we do not know, he knows. Fear prevents us from allowing God to become our eyes and ears. It prevents us from connecting with him in understanding and in love. The enemy can hinder and manipulate us but God is stronger. God can help us fight off the enemy. God knows where our journey will take us because he is the only one that clears the path and paves the way for us.
So let us begin today, and choose to leap with faith and not fear. Let us say no to doubt, uncertainty and confusion. In other words, Start working on that project you have always wanted to do. Start that small business you have always wanted to have. Pray to God and allow him to guide your hands and your feet. Allow him to remove any fear, doubt or hesitation in you. And remember, Through God all things are possible.
2 Corinthians 5:7 reads, “For we walk by faith, not by sight”.
Father God, we thank you for your love and kindness. We thank you for all that you do for us everyday. Father King of glory, please guide our hands and feet on to the path you have paved for us. Please show us the way to arrive at our individual destinations. We glorify and exalt your name. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
You are all Blessed
