YOUR SITUATION!

OUR SITUATION!

your situation is temporary. In all things, always have faith, hope and love.

1 Corinthians 13:13 reads, “So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love”.

YOUR HAPPINESS IS NOT DEPENDANT ON YOUR CIRCUMSTANCES!

Every now and then, we run into problems in our lives. Situations both unexpected and expected. We say to ourselves, “how did this happen?”, “why did this happen?”, “Why me?”.  Well the answer lies with God. regardless of what reasons, assumptions and conclusions we and others come up with, God is the only one with all the answers we seek. While we wallow in despair and sadness, there are others in situations that are worse than ours. But yet they laugh, smile and make do with whatever they have. So how is this possible? How can someone be truely happy regardless of their circumstances? Again, the answer lies with God.

James 5:13 reads, ” Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise”.

John 14:27 reads, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid”.

Psalm 37.4 reads, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart”.

YOUR HAPPINESS COMES FROM GOD!

True happiness and inner peace can only come from God. It is a feeling further supported by our faith, trust and belief in Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, and The scriptures. The certainty of Knowing that God will always be there for us regardless of what situations we may find ourselves in, is very reassuring and comforting. Just knowing that God can take a negative situation and transform it into a positive one gives us the drive to keep going. Our God is good.

John 16:33 reads, “
I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world”.

2 Timothy 1:7 reads, “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control”.

Phillipians 4:7 reads, “And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.

YOUR HAPPINESS SHOULD NOT BE DEPENDANT ON SOMEONE ELSE’S WORDS OR OPINIONS!

As human beigns we tend to judge and seek approval from each other. We look for reassurances and support in one another. While sharing our feelings and ideas is fine, it is important to know that not everyone will respond positively. Negative responses, and comments can subconsciously affect our ability to be confident in ourselves and in God. which can result in our unhappiness. In some cases we begin doubting our ideas before acting on them. We slowly become dependent on the opinions of others and eventually we stop being true to ourselve. I am sure you have all heard of the term “low self esteem” or “low confidence”. These terms are used to describe the way a person views his/her self and/or what they believe they can achieve. It is very damaging to be in a situation like this and likewise, it is even harder to reverse this type of thinking. But the good news is that nothing is impossible for God. Prayer is the key! A strong prayer life will help us through difficulties in our lives. Thus, it is very important for us to make prayer a priority everyday in our lives.

Philippians 4:6-7 reads, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.

Psalm 128:2 reads, “You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you”.

Our father in heaven, we thank you for your love, kindness and understanding. We pray that you continue to guide and support us in all that we do. We pray that in all situations, you take control of our actions. Carefully guiding our hands, feet and speech. We glorify and exalt your name. In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

You are all Blessed.
