YOUR STRENGTH!

OUR STRENGTH!

What does it mean to be emotionally strong? We all go through things that test our resilience and endurance. Things that test our patience and faith. Things that push us to our breaking point.

Being emotionally strong is about having the ability to endure and adapt. It’s about facing our insecurities and fears. It’s about self realization and the ability to rely solely on Yarweh. God knows our weaknesses and our strengths. He knows what we can handle and what we can’t handle. So whenever we find ourselves having a weak moment, we should pray and draw our strength from God. God is always with us and he will never abandon us. Our God is good.

Phillipians 4:6 reads, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God”.

Matthew 11:28-30 reads, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light”.

THE LOVE IN OUR HEARTS!

love! What is love?
Love is a set of emotions and behaviors characterized by intimacy, passion, and commitment.

We all have love to give. We all want to share our feelings, emotions, dreams, goals and hearts with others. So what keeps us from doing this? Why do we hide our love? Well…sometimes we hide our love because of the pain and trauma we’ve experienced in our past. Other times we do this because of fear or rejection. But does this really help? Does hiding our love really keep us safe and prevent us from experiencing pain? NO…it doesn’t. Hiding our love only makes things worse. It slowly causes us to become paranoid, anxious, and suspicious. In some cases, it makes us depressed and unaproachable. So what’s the solution? Who can we give our love to without any reservations? The answer is God! He is the only one that we can truely trust with our love and hearts. His love will cast out the fear in our hearts and bring us peace.

1 John 4:18 reads, “There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love”.

Opening up to someone isn’t easy. Revealing our inner most secrets and allowing others into our hearts is hard. But with God, we can be sure that he will keep everything safe. He will listen and treasure all the  things we tell him. He is our dad, the creator of all and our God. He understands who we are and knows everything there is to know about us. So if you are someone that is hiding, feeling as though you cannot fully express the love within your heart, then give it to God. Pour all that love into serving and worshiping. Allow the love that God has placed in your heart to flow.

The world needs love and you can be part of the love that keeps the world balanced. You can be part of God’s plan to heal the world. So decide today, and open up your heart to God. Allow him to work his purpose through you and you will be suprised at how much God can change your life. You will grow into someone you never realized you were. You will discover who you truely are without reservations. You will be the free individual that you were meant to be. Peaceful, joyful and happy.

2 Thessalonians 3:5 reads, “May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ”.

Collosians 3:14 reads, “And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony”.

CONFLICTS!

Conflict is something many of us are uncomfortable dealing with. We do our best to stay away from it but sometimes it’s inevitable. So how should we deal with conflict? How should we respond in situations where we feel wronged? Well…the first thing we should always remember is that conflict isn’t meant to be permanent. We shouldn’t be going to sleep angry at each other. An argument or dissagreement shouldn’t be left without both parties actively trying to resolve the situation. God want’s us to learn how to resolve our differences in positive and productive ways. He want’s us to learn that sometimes its not about whose right or wrong. He wants us to understand that looking at the bigger picture is always better than focusing on who did it or who started it. So be the bigger person and let it go. Don’t hold on to nagative thoughts and feelings. Forgive whoever has wronged you and keep your conscience clear.

Matthew 6:14-15 reads, “For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses”.

MAKING PEACE!

If you are willing to resolve the situation and the other individual is not, then you have done all you can and the other person has rejected your peace offer. Pray for them and let it be. Focus your mind on God and allow him to handle it.

James 3:18 reads, “And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace”.

In conclusion, the air we breathe, the food we eat, and the water we drink all comes from God. He provides us with all the things we need and that includes our emotional strength. He does all these things because of the love he has for us. A love that is pure and impartial. A love that is kind and healing. We all have alot to give and that includes the love God has placed in our hearts.

His love! A love to be shared with the world. A love to unite and bring us all together regardless of our differences. So let’s put aside all conflicts. Let’s put aside all things negative and keep our eyes focused on God. Let’s be our brother’s keeper and always remember to give God the glory.

Phillipians 4:19 reads, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus”.

1 John 4:16 reads, “So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him”.

Our father in heaven, thank you for your love, your protection and generosity. Thank you for all the things you do everyday in our lives. Father king of glory, please bless us with emotional strength. Please bless us with the courage we need to continue doing your work. Please help us resolve any conflicts present in our lives and keep us safe from the evil one. We glorify and exalt your name. In the mighty name of Jesus amen.

You are all Blessed.
