YOUR DREAMS!

YOUR HEART AND YOUR DREAMS!

Have you been dreaming? Have you been dreaming of the person you would like to be or the person that you’ve always known you were on the inside? Have you been patiently waiting for the right moment? That moment when you finally break out of your shell or caccoon. That moment when you finally decide to live your life with intention and purpose. No more hiding behind insecurities. No more hiding because of the negative people that surround you. No more hiding…Because you’ve had enough! Well…i am here to tell you that the moment you have been waiting for is Here and Now. It’s time to start living! Its time to show the world the goodness in you. Let everyone see that you are free. God loves you and wants you to live freely. He want’s you to express and display the blessings that he has bestowed upon you.

Jeremiah 29:11 reads, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”.

It doesn’t matter how many things you dream of or how many people support you. What matters is allowing God to lead you. What matters is living your life in love and in truth. Yes…you can be a doctor, a baker, a sports fanatic, and a mechanic all at the same time if it pleases you. God has blessed you with many different skills and he want’s you to put them to good use. He wants you to use your blessings for the betterment of the world.

Proverbs 16:3 reads, “Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established”.

THE REASONS!

Hinderance! Sometimes we hinder ourselves from achieving the things we want because we are scared of rejection or failure. We convince ourselves that we are content with where we are and what we are doing. But the truth is we are not. Deep down, our dreams are still alive, waiting to resurface one day. Maybe that dream…the dream that we’ve been pushing aside is a pathway to our true purpose in life. Maybe that hobby that we never took seriously is actually our true calling. Maybe…just maybe if we put in alittle bit more effort into achieving our dreams, we will find our true calling in life.

God wants us to live righteous and holy lives. In other words, he wants us to live honestly and truthfully. Living a righteous and holy life might seem tough because of all the things we would have to give up. You know….SIN and all the bad habits we’ve learned and accumulated. All the things we do that are not good or productive. E.g drugs and alcohol abuse, excessive shopping, gambling etc. So what’s wrong with that? What’s wrong with choosing to live a better life? What’s wrong with learning new and good habits? The answer is Nothing! God wants us to have fun doing good things and being good to ourselves and our neighbors. Is this not what a loving father should want for his children? God is love and he wants us to pass on the love he has put in our hearts. So yes! living a righteous and holy life is very possible and attainable. Are we still going to make mistakes? Yes! And that’s fine.

God made us imperfect beings, therefore our longing for perfection is irrational and damaging to our minds because the truth is we are perfect in Christ. We all have a purpose in life and if we allow God to guide us, we will arrive at our destination, filled with Joy and happiness.

Matthew 6:33-34 reads, “But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble”.

If we believe that the Lord has called us to do something, then we should go and do what the Lord has called us to do. For example, take the young and passionate individuals at Blading for bees.

Zachariah Choboter and his team believe that educating the public on bees and pollinators will help lower the ecological footprint on the environment. So they decided to do something about it. Currently, Zach and his team are roller blading 9000km across canada and educating people about this issue. Their mission is to promote and circulate knowledge on how to live a more sustainable lifestyle.

HELPFUL TIPS AND POINTERS!

Changing our mindset plays a huge part in our success.

* We should think of failure as a stepping stone, not “The end”. If you fail once, go back to the drawing board and try again.

Philippians 4:13 reads, “I can do all things through him who strengthens me”.

Romans 12:12 reads, “Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer”.

*Staying connected to God is the key to discovering our trueselves. Only God knows what blessings and talents he has bestowed upon us, therefore only he can bring them out.

Psalm 37:4 reads, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart”.

* Understanding who God is can help us attain freedom. Freedom starts from within and if we allow God to show us who he truly is, we will attain the freedom we desire.

* Constant prayer deepens our relationship with God and builds our faith. Prayer is our weapon against all evil and our faith is our shield.

Hebrews 11:1 reads, “Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen”.

* Reading the scriptures nourishes our minds and souls. It helps us make good and sound decisions. The wisdom of God is food for the soul, spirit and body.

Hebrews 4:12 reads, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart”.

In conclusion, we should all take a chance and work on our dreams. No matter what obstacles we may face, we can be sure that God is in control. He makes a way, where there is no way. He is Alpha and Omega, the God of possibilities and impossibilities. So let’s all put our trust, faith and confidence in him. Let’s all keep our minds and eyes focused on him and allow him to be God.

Proverbs 16:9 reads, “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps”.

Father king of glory, we thank you for the wisdom and knowledge you have bestowed upon us. We thank you for your generosity and mercy. Father God, please help us achieve our goals and our dreams as you have willed it. Please help us exemplify and spread your love and goodness to the world. In the Mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

Psalm 20:4 reads, “May he grant you your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans!”.

You are all Blessed.
